An ever evolving blog, concerning an evolutionary riddle, wrapped in a conundrum of geological time and hosted by an Eocenic enigma. Reason - Rationality - Skepticism - Logic - Secularism - Humanism - Atheism

"If you don't believe in evolution and you get it [the swine virus] you have to pray it away."
Ha, ha...
"You can't crap all over Darwin, and stem cell research, and global warming and then come crawling back to science when you want Tamiflu.
Sometimes I feel like getting HBO just because of good, old Bill.
Good stuff. Perhaps like we have a Drug Czar, and whatever else Czar, we need a Science Czar, or better yet, a Science Nazi.
What? Creationism? No science for you!
@ Lorena - if that's your only reason, better to just watch clips on the internet. They usually go up on YouTube within 24 hours of airing.
@ Philly - EVIL, man!
JEI am not a huge fan of YouTube because I normally watch TV--or the thing is on anyway--at the same time as I surf the web.
But, since I won't be getting HBO anytime soon, maybe I'll force myself to do the YouTube thing.
I like to watch the comedy shows, like Jon Stewart, hot off the press, 'cause the news are so current.
I just cancelled HBO. We just need to save money and we're cutting corners a number of places. It all adds up.
I really don't watch much television, so I love YouTube and other internet sites that have shows or clips of shows I watch. Though I agree with you on Stewart and Colbert and try to watch them. But when you miss, it's nice that they both have sites where you can see the whole show!
Good clip Evo.
If I had a choice between cable and internet, I'd choose the latter. Simply not enough content on the TV that I want to watch.
Maher was on his game that night. That was a great segment.
Great clip, John.
To you and Lorena: if you don't already know, you can subscribe to the audio of "Real Time" through the iTunes store, for free. I like that option -- you do miss the occasional sight gag, but on the other hand, you don't have to be tied to your computer or paying for HBO to get 95% of the goodness.
Brendan, thanks for pointing that out. Exterminator told me about it a while back and I had forgotten.
JE: y/w.
Here's another nice wrinkle to be aware of. As I noted in this post on the Bh.tv forums, there is a posting of the most recent Real Time on YouTube where each segment has an onscreen link that appears at the end of the segment which lets you get to the next segment with one click. No more searching, or jumping back and forth between pages.
Here is the YouTube link to Part 1 (of 8). Good show this week.
B - That's an even better tip - as far as I'm concerned. Muchas gracias.
