Plugging Myself

Well, fuck it. It's my blog! And if I can't promote my Youtube channel at my own blog, where the hell am I supposed to do it? Anyway, I have certainly pushed a goodly amount of other YouTube channels, and you watched all of those recommendations if I'm not mistaken. I just happen to be a little more proud of this effort than most of my usual bullshit on YT. If you think it's any good, join my 10's of thousands of subscribers there. Either that or leave a comment...

I've got to get Coyne's book. The differences between oceanic and continental islands look fascinating. The evolutionary explanation for these differences is plausible and, to me, sufficient.

I don't think that believers committed to creation as an explanation for the universe will be persuaded by Coyne's conclusion. They may not argue at all with the fact that the differences are real, but their answer to Coyne's "why" question will simply be something like, "He wanted to do it that way. Who are you to question why?"

Make sure you get the minty fresh variety. It'll help with your halitosis too.

Very nice video, indeed.

Greatest thing about island biogeography? No Christians.

Ex, you are right except in the way they *named* a number of them.

Thanks for the compliment.

I assume you're referring to Pesach Island and Ramadan Island.

So how many Google hits have you been getting with a title like "plugging myself"? I bet there are a few thousand unhappy Googlers by now, including Gideon.

Are you singing on any of those videos, Evo?

"...including Gideon."

OK. That was my belly laugh for the day. I'm good 'till tomorrow.

Oh...

That's what you meant when you told me I should plug myself! I should have known...
