Darwin vs Hitler - the way it really is

I seldom put up a new video so quickly after another one, but this can't wait. In this great year of science, with the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and the 150th anniversary of the publication of the single greatest book of science ever written for both academic and lay consumption; The Origin of Species, we see mentally challenged creationists doing all they can to sully the good name of the great Charles Darwin. It's time to stand up and tell them they are full of shit.

Gideon, have you ever wondered how many believers you have brought over here to the dark side? If you have changed any minds, that's the way they have changed. People may have a craving for religious addiction, but they also want to know things.

Facts *do* interest people - even religious people. When they see facts in counterpoint to your style of obfuscation and it makes them think. No one has ever read your words on these blogs and thought, "that guy is on to the facts". But they might have had second thoughts about their own beliefs thanks to you.

I really shouldn't even tell you - except that ultimately, it really doesn't matter either way. You're kind of "damned if you do and damned if you don't".

Plus (lucky for you) it's 1 AM on a Saturday night and I have nothing better to do than wind you up. :D

Gideon "Oh, that's right, I forgot... you don't deal in facts, do you?"
Great. Now I need a new irony meter.

We're still waiting for you to develop one, Gideon. How much longer do we have to wait?

Ah, more of Gideon's patented mindless insults, zero content. Shouldn't have been surprised.

Guess it'll be a long, long, long time while Gideon's crusty gray matter actually sparks anything resembling an intelligent thought.

Hitchens and Dawkins can be pretty brusque. They don't suffer fools gladly. But I have never heard either of them calling people assholes, referencing sexual orientation, making any straw man arguments... in fact, nearly everything they say has genuine merit.

I guess it's the advantage of being on the winning side of the argument. Oh, look, I'm up late again!

John, I have a book compiled in 1931, it is illustrated by Dr. Seuss, and it is a compilation of some of the more, um, INTERESTING answers kids in school gave to test answers.

For instance:

"To 'germinate' is to become a German"

"Rhubarb is a kind of celery gone bloodshot".

"Nitrigen is exists everywhere except Ireland, because it cannot exist in a free state".

More to the thread, though:

"The theory of evolution was greatly objected to because it made men think".

and

"A martyr is a large pile of wood, set on fire, with a man on top".
