I'm currently reading "Cryptonomicon" by Neal Stephenson and came across this one:
"Arguing with anonymous strangers on the Internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be—or to be indistinguishable from—self-righteous sixteen-year-olds possessing infinite amounts of free time."

How about this one:
Arguing with infidels is like pissing into the wind... a waste of good piss.
How about this one:
Arguing with Giddy-up is like hitting yourself on the head, repeatedly, with a hammer - it feels sooooo good to stop.
"Arguing with Giddy-up is like hitting yourself on the head, repeatedly, with a hammer - it feels sooooo good to stop."
Especially when you haven't a fucking clue about what you're talking about and LOSE every argument, right, John?
And, you've had one too many hits to the head, amigo!
"Especially when you haven't a fucking clue about what you're talking about and LOSE every argument, right, John?"
No. Can't say I've had that experience. What's it like?
Oh, come now, John! Surely you know you've had such an experience. Just remember on any given day the time between when you awake and when you retire. That's what I'm talking about.
I knew you'd know, being an expert on the subject, and all. Clearly you have a lot of experience with that whole waking and retiring thing.
Some of us can multitask better than others, I suppose, and have no trouble coming up with posts that are relevant for the times.
You should have no problems in that area, John. Don't all lawyers have assistants that do all of their work for them, while they trim their golf scores alongside their physician buddies on the greens?
But, I guess one is limited when they've settled for posting the stuff of fairy tales... like that which comprises the anti-theist worldview.
Think modern, John. Ape worship is neither a progressive or uplifting proposition. You can see the results of that in the world around us.
There are worse things you could be doing with your time.
