Nailing themselves to a cross

Phillychief points out that some Christians are up to their old ways - theft. This time they stole a Darwin sign that had been paid for by the Freedom From Religion Foundation. Wasn't one of the guys who was supposedly hung up next to Jesus, there for stealing?

No need to get upset over this though. Haven't we all noticed that everytime they go (further) bonkers they simply create more press coverage and demonstrate the weakness of their position than if they would just shut up?

Yeah, Dismas (who was named in the 12th century, I guess he needed a name before he could be canonized as a saint) was a thief, but he asked Jesus for forgiveness, so everything turned out cool.

If Dismas could be forgiven, then righteous people who steal for Jesus have nothing to worry about - it's all for a heavenly cause.

That's the Christian mentality, the end justifies the means.

Definitely have a "Phillychief theme" going on this post!

Come on, we all know these idiot theists don't pay attention to those silly rules in the Bible. It's all "Do as we say, not as we do".

Bunch of hypocrites.

Oh, there are endless examples of it and I can't think of a time it hasn't exploded in their faces.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I appreciate you stopping in. :)

As for this post, you're right, every time they do something stupid they just dig the hole a little deeper. And I have to admit that I don't mind at all!

You always get the, "We're not PERFECT, we're SAVED..." schtick.

Pretty handy to have your morality in seperate drawers.
