Campaign of HOPE

Oh, hell yeah. This is what I'm talking about. Now, just don't feel guilty about it, Democrats. Embrace your inner beast and go for the jugular. Every day for 50 days, another ad like this - Please.

That's about the mildest, most ineffective version of going for the jugular I've ever seen.

I agree with Ex. The ad is okay, but it doesn't pack much of a punch.

No, no... You two miss the point.

THEY ARE ATTACKING. Of course I hope for much stronger (there's dozens of legitimate targets you can hit them on without lying - like McPalin does). But they are finally on the offensive! This is the first attack ad I've seen. It's a GREAT sign.

Its better han some of the attacking adds we have had in Australia that come of sounding like a spruker at a discount store.

But yeah I hope this i just a warm up

MORE to my point.

And not exactly to my point since Obama has not gone crazy on McCain on this himself (hopefully coming up!), but this is AWESOME

The lobbyist ad is running over and over in Florida, and may work -- although Obama's record on taking lobbyist money (admittedly, indirectly in many cases) is hardly squeaky clean. Both candidates have financial ties to the mortgage giants.

Of course, the only way for the McCain campaign to bring that up is to admit that its candidate is even more snugly nestled in bed with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac than Obama is.

Cenk's rant is very nice. But then, he's had plenty of nice rants in the last few months. So have we all. In what way do ballsy bloggers and vloggers help the Obama campaign? Anyone trolling around the Internet for political content already knows where he or she stands. The passion has to come directly from Obama and Biden, aimed at those idiot non-issues voters. The Young Turks, and Evolutionary Middleman, and The Daily Kos, and the rest of us spouting our opinions here in BlogWorld are out of those voters' radar.

The problem with the computer ad is that there are a lot of people out there who still don't know how to use a computer or email. I suspect they might be a tad put off by the ad. Better to have highlighted his 7 or 11 houses and other things that tie him to the rich people who really don't give a fuck about the people they're trickling on.

The reason McCain can't use a computer keyboard is physical damage due to the torture he suffered in North Vietnam. Everybody knows that.

This isn't going to help Obama. It comes across as making fun of McCain's physical disability, which effectively eclipses any valid point the ad makes.

But Infidel surely he could have used voice activated software?

Bahahahaha!! So it's true!! "I was a prisoner of war" really is the catch-all for ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHIN! I love it.

Yeah, beyond Sean's point - I've never noticed that he can't use his hands. I see him writing, carrying things, picking things up. You mean he can't, even with his index fingers, type? REALLY? And, if that's REALLY true, what in fucks name does that have to do with the POINT? The POINT, Infidel, is that he is ignorant of modern life. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm wrong. I remember now. One of his aids announced "the Senator IS aware of the Internet"! Bahahahaha!

Oh fucking sweet christ in a bucket of holy shit save my ass from this godforsaken country.

Why McCain can't use a computer. You can guess!
