Can Bush Be Stopped Legally When He Is Above The Constitution?

A very scary overview of where we have come to. Discussion between Keith Olbermann and Neal Katyal, the 2006 "Lawyer of the Year" and former National Security Advisor in the U.S. Justice Department.

Good grab on this vid, John. I just couldn't bring myself to blog about the latest torture news to come out about the Bush Administration, so I'm glad you did.

On this note, you might also like Bob Garfield's lead editorial on this week's On The Media.

Excellent, Brendan. Thanks for the link. I check in with NPR periodically, but I have heard that particular program before.

Poor Katie Couric... how long will she last? She has become the symbol for vapid fluff journalism. Even though she clearly was not alone in overlooking what should have been the biggest story of the night - she always manages to take the hardest hits!

Frightening. I couldn't find it on YouTube, but check ComedyCentral.com for recent Daily Show clips from Oct 8th "Cruel Intentions" and "Tortured Logic".

In the latter, I love the explanation that torture isn't torture because the US doesn't torture. Great mockery of spokeswoman Perrino as well.
